The Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Takoma Academy Tigers to 65 in the Wildebeests non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildebeests now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to KIPP College Prep for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Sandy Spring Friends will battle a Panthers team coming off a 74-45 non-league loss to Idea (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.
The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Albans (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, St. Albans overcame Georgetown Day (Washington, DC), 74-46, in a non-league match.
