The Pilgrim Patriots basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Hope Blue Wave to 35 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cranston West for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Pilgrim will battle a Falcons team coming off a 74-30 non-league win over St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.

The Blue Wave (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, North Providence was defeated by Johnston (Johnston, RI), 48-39, in a non-league contest.
