Texas High School Basketball - Amarillo crushes Frenship

December 18, 2023: Amarillo, TX 79109

Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX), 80-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Amarillo upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Sandies travel to Odessa (Odessa, TX) to play the Bronchos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bronchos go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Odessa lost 56-26 in their recent non-league bout against Levelland (Levelland, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Frenship will attempt to upgrade on its 18-1 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 68-62 non-league win over Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX).
