California High School Basketball - Anderson tops Pierce

December 18, 2023: Arbuckle, CA 95912

Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA), 42-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anderson upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Cubs host Etna (Etna, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 3-7. Etna lost 45-37 in their recent non-league bout against Quincy (Quincy, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Orland Trojans (Orland, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Pierce will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 57-53 non-league win over Las Plumas (Oroville, CA).
