The Homewood Patriots basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Austin Black Bears to 37 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Childersburg for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Homewood will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-17 non-league win over Shelby County (Columbiana, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-3.

The Black Bears (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ramsay (Birmingham, AL). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Ramsay triumphed over Hayden (Hayden, AL), 56-18, in a league contest.
