The Burnsville Blaze basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Jefferson Jaguars to 34 in the Blaze league triumph on Monday.
The Blaze now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeville South for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Burnsville will battle a Cougars team coming off a 78-46 league win over Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.
The Jaguars (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Park (Cottage Grove, MN). The Wolfpack enter the AAAA Section 3 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Park triumphed over Irondale (New Brighton, MN), 50-28, in a non-league contest.
