The Monroe Redhawks routed the visiting Central Eagles basketball team by a final score of 55-24 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Redhawks face the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 2. Monroe will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.

With the defeat, Central moves to 2-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to McBee (McBee, SC) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 19. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 1-4.
