Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Star edges McConnellsburg

The North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) basketball nipped the visiting McConnellsburg Spartans (McConnellsburg, PA), 37-32 in Monday's league test.

The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Windber (Windber, PA). The Ramblers go into the Inter County - West test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Windber was tipped by Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA), 76-43, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsburg for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 20. McConnellsburg will encounter a Blue Pirates squad coming off a 41-37 non-league loss to Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Blue Pirates record now stands at 4-1.
