River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA), 59-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, River City upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Raiders host Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Metropolitan Conference bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Monterey Trail lost 47-42 in their recent non-league bout against Antelope (Antelope, CA)

Next up, the Matadors play the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Mira Loma will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 50-38 non-league win over Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA).
