Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pangburn Tigers (Pangburn, AR), 50-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Quitman upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR) to clash with the Warhawks in a 2A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 19-0. Mt. Vernon-Enola won 74-38 in their recent league bout against Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Harding Academy Wildcats (Searcy, AR) in a 3A Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 5. Pangburn will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
