California High School Basketball - Anderson edges Pierce

The Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) basketball nipped the host Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA), 24-21 in Monday's non-league test.

The Cubs (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Etna (Etna, CA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Etna got by Quincy (Quincy, CA), 40-28, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Orland for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 20. Pierce will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 55-28 non-league win over Willows (Willows, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-4.
