Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Tuslaw Mustangs (Massillon, OH), 42-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Waynedale upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Golden Bears travel to Norwayne (Creston, OH) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Tuslaw will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
