Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats face the Calaveras Red Hawks (San Andreas, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Sonora will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Red Hawks enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Tokay (Lodi, CA).

The Buffaloes now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sierra for a challenge on Friday, January 5.
