The Howell Highlanders ice hockey squad scored 4 points and restricted the host Franklin Patriots to 1 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Monday.

With the victory, Howell moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign.

The Patriots now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Franklin will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Brighton (Brighton, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
