Baboquivari Warriors (Sells, AZ) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), 49-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Baboquivari upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to St. David (St. David, AZ) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the Prospectors play the Benson Bobcats (Benson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Apache Junction will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
