Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Christchurch School Seahorses (Christchurch, VA), 39-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Steward upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Spartans host Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA) to play the Titans in a bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Trinity Episcopal lost 46-42 in their recent non-league bout against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA)

Next up, the Seahorses play the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA) in a bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Christchurch School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
