Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA), 30-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Live Oak upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Lions host Las Plumas (Oroville, CA) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Las Plumas lost 63-55 in their recent non-league bout against Sutter (Sutter, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Burney Raiders (Burney, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. Quincy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 42-9 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, CA).
