Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets confront the San Lorenzo Grizzlies (San Lorenzo, CA) in a West Alameda County - Shoreline challenge, on Friday, December 22. Berkeley will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record.
The Lions now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to California for a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. Liberty will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 0-0 non-league Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-1.
