The Amity Regional Spartans nipped the visiting Greenwich Cardinals basketball squad by a final score of 83-76 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Spartans face the Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 20. Amity Regional will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 66-52 non-league loss to North Branford (North Branford, CT).
The Cardinals now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haverford School for a non-league battle on Sunday, December 22. Greenwich will meet a Fords squad coming off a 73-31 non-league win over Germantown Friends (Philadelphia, PA). The Fords record now stands at 8-0.
