Virginia High School Basketball - Bayside nips Great Bridge

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Bayside Marlins basketball team scored a close 59-55 win over the Great Bridge Wildcats.
The Marlins (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA). The Patriots come into the Beach contest with a 2-5 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern contest, on Friday, December 20. Great Bridge will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 58-39 non-league win over Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA).
