The Blake Bengals basketball team scored 99 points and limited the host Wheaton Knights to 62 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bengals now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Blair for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Blake will confront a Blazers team coming off a 79-68 non-league loss to Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Wheaton falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD) to confront the Cavaliers in a Montgomery 4A South game on Friday, December 20. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 4-2. Kennedy won 75-53 in their recent non-league game against Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD)
