Maryland High School Basketball - James Madison holds off Chopticon

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting James Madison Warhawks basketball team scored a close 43-39 triumph over the Chopticon Braves.

The Warhawks (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Ashburn, VA). The go into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Independence was tipped by Gainesville (Gainesville, VA), 81-60, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Braves confront the King's Christian Academy Eagles (Callaway, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Chopticon will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 79-40 non-league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD).
