The Griffins (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA). The Marlins come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Making Waves Academy defeated Leadership Public Schools Richmond (Richmond, CA), 73-23, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Madison Park Academy Trojan-Warriors (Oakland, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Coliseum College Prep Academy will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Trojan-Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 34-31 league loss to Impact Academy of Arts & Technology (Hayward, CA).
