The Wolves (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Garfield was knocked off by Arleta (Arleta, CA), 55-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sharks encounter the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Crosstown challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Math & Science College Preparatory will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 75-29 league loss to Larchmont Charter (West Hollywood, CA).
