Illinois High School Basketball - Sycamore knocks off Mendota

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) and the host Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL), observed Sycamore's basketball team overcome Mendota by a margin of 64-45.

The Spartans (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL) in a Three Rivers - East challenge, on Friday, December 20. Mendota will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 58-56 non-league loss to Mendota (Mendota, IL).
