The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) and the visiting Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL), observed Morrison's basketball team overcome Mercer County by a margin of 69-51.

The Mustangs (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Kewanee (Kewanee, IL). The Boilermakers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) in a Three Rivers - West challenge, on Friday, December 20. Mercer County will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 62-41 non-league win over Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL).
