In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons basketball team scored a good 59-42 triumph over the Springbrook Blue Devils.

The Barons (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD). The Wildcats go into the Montgomery County - 4A South contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Walter Johnson topped Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD), 68-62, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) in a Montgomery County - 3A East contest, on Friday, December 20. Springbrook will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 56-7 non-league win over Northwood (Silver Spring, MD).
