The Patriots (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, North Stanly prevailed over North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 38-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles encounter the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina challenge, on Friday, December 20. East Davidson will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 43-33 non-league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
