Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA), 59-32 in a league match.
With the victory, Ferndale advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Lynden (Lynden, WA) to face the Lions in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Friday, December 20. The Lions enter the match with a record of 5-0. Lynden won 49-32 in their recent non-league match against Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA)
The Wildcats now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Vernon for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Saturday, December 21. Oak Harbor will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 50-49 league loss to Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
