The Wildcats (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles come into the 4A Southwestern challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, East Mecklenburg was routed by Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC), 45-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Sugar Creek Charter will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 51-39 league loss to Harding University (Charlotte, NC).
