In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host New Hope-Solebury Lions basketball team scored a big 44-16 win over the Girard College Cavaliers.
The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lower Moreland (Huntingdon Valley, PA). The Lions come into the Suburban One - Freedom contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Lower Moreland smashed Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA), 79-50, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Solebury Spartans (New Hope, PA) in a Penn-Jersey contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Girard College will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 33-22 league win over Pine Forge Academy (Pine Forge, PA).
