In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Holston Cavaliers basketball team scored a big 42-10 win over the Tazewell Bulldogs.
The Cavaliers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Rye Cove smashed Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA), 63-9, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Tazewell will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 51-28 non-league loss to Richlands (Richlands, VA).
