The Jordan-Matthews Jets basketball squad (Siler City, NC), was crushed 64-18 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC)
With the victory, Southwestern Randolph advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Cougars host Randleman (Randleman, NC) to meet the Tigers in a 1A/2A Piedmont battle on Friday, December 20. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 5-3. Randleman won 42-26 in their recent league battle against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)
The Jets now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashe County for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 26. Jordan-Matthews will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 49-33 non-league win over Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 7-2.
