The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) and the visiting Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), observed Lehighton's basketball team overwhelm Palisades by a score of 38-14.

The Indians (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA). The Olympians come into the Schuylkill County 1 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Jim Thorpe was routed by Palmerton (Palmerton, PA), 61-16, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Palisades will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 59-38 league win over Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA).
