In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting McLaughlin Mustangs basketball team scored a big 65-38 triumph over the Little Wound Mustangs.

The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Tatanka go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Lakota Tech smashed Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD), 78-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks (Ridgeview, SD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Little Wound will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Thunderhawks go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 78-46 non-league loss to Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD).
