With the victory, Mater Dei advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Knights host Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL) to face the Griffins in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Griffins enter the match with a record of 6-4. Father McGivney Catholic lost 34-19 in their recent league match against Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Civic Memorial for a Mississippi Valley match on Friday, December 20. Waterloo will face a Eagles squad coming off a 48-40 league win over Triad (Troy, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-0.
