The Tulare Western Mustangs (Tulare, CA) basketball edged the visiting Strathmore Spartans (Strathmore, CA), 30-28 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Coalinga for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. Tulare Western will play a Horned Toads team coming off a 58-31 non-league win over Fresno (Fresno, CA). The Horned Toads record now stands at 10-2.
