Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Watertown/Pomperaug holds off Shepaug Valley

The Watertown/Pomperaug Indians ice hockey team scored 2 points and held the host Shepaug Valley Spartans to 1 in the Indians non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Indians now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Branford for a Southern Connecticut - DII bout on Saturday, December 21. Watertown/Pomperaug will encounter a Thunderbirds team coming off a 3-2 league loss to West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Shepaug Valley moves to 0-1 on the season. The Spartans host Wilton (Wilton, CT) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
