With the victory, Providence Grove upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to face the Comets in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Comets enter the match with a record of 2-2. North Stanly won 60-57 in their recent non-league match against North Davidson (Lexington, NC)

The Golden Eagles now sport a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Rowan for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. East Davidson will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 84-29 non-league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-0.
