The Central Spartans (El Centro, CA) soccer overwhelmed the host Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ), 6-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Grossmont for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 21. Central will encounter a Foothillers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Foothillers record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Yuma moves to 3-4 on the year. The Criminals travel to Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ) to encounter the Aztecs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 3. The Aztecs go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Copper Canyon won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ)
