In Wednesday's league outing, the host Riverdale Rebels soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes.
The Rebels (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Archbishop Hannan got by Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
The Hurricanes now sport a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edna Karr for a non-league match on Thursday, January 9.
