Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Cary Imps (Cary, NC), 68-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hoggard upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league outing on Friday, December 19. The Huskies enter the outing with a record of 6-6. Heritage won 66-53 in their recent non-league outing against South Garner (Garner, NC)

The Imps (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Eastern Randolph was defeated by Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC), 66-60, in a non-league outing.
