In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Dillon Wildcats basketball team scored a close 55-48 win over the St. Pauls Bulldogs.
The Wildcats (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Scotland edged Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 69-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 6. St. Pauls will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record.
