The Lake Hornets basketball squad (Lake, MS), was crushed 57-25 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Morton Panthers (Morton, MS)

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Sebastopol was routed by Pisgah (Sandhill, MS), 46-26, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, December 21. Lake will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 53-32 non-league loss to Morton (Morton, MS).
