The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX) and the host Trinidad Trojans (Trinidad, TX), observed North Zulch's basketball team overwhelm Trinidad by a margin of 53-23.

The Bulldogs (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakwood (Oakwood, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 5-10 record. In their last match, Oakwood overwhelmed Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX), 53-35, in a non-league match.

The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Slocum for a 1A Region III District 24 match on Friday, January 2. Trinidad will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 41-37 non-league loss to Lovelady (Lovelady, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-6.
