The Custer Wildcats basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting McLaughlin Mustangs to 29 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Santee for a non-league game on Friday, December 19. Custer will confront a Warriors team coming off a 67-25 non-league loss to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, McLaughlin moves to 0-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD) to clash with the Thorpes in a non-league outing on Friday, December 19.
