The Pope John Paul II Jaguars basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Albany Hornets to 34 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Jaguars now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pearl River for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Pope John Paul II will meet a Rebels team coming off a 54-41 non-league win over Albany (Albany, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-2.
The Hornets (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Independence, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Independence was outscored by Hammond (Hammond, LA), 73-39, in a non-league contest.
