With the victory, Alpena upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Glen Lake (Maple City, MI) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Lakers come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Glen Lake won 69-13 in their recent league bout against Leland (Leland, MI)

Next up, the Tigers play the Posen Vikings (Posen, MI) in a North Star bout, on Thursday, January 5. Hillman will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 49-48 non-league loss to Onaway (Onaway, MI).
