Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ), 52-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Birmingham upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Rancho (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Rancho won 85-51 in their recent non-league bout against Constitution (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Colts clash with the Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Casteel will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 72-53 non-league win over Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV).
