The Dodd City Hornets basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Bonham Warriors to 37 in the Hornets non-league victory on Monday.
The Hornets now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redwater for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Dodd City will battle a Dragons team coming off a 60-36 league loss to Atlanta (Atlanta, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 8-12.
The Warriors (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Wolfe City dropped by Honey Grove (Honey Grove, TX), 37-35, in a league contest.
